IA (Scotland, Wisc) 13 March 2001 email from Kathy Velasquez provided the photo of Evert^8 Van Vickle and family and helpful information on
the names of the 6 children. Excerpt from the email......I believe there were only six children. I know that Jewell and Jude were the same person and Mack and Artie McKinley were the same. I have seen
the 1880, 1900, and 1910 census for them. ( I haven't seen the 1890 census--so it may have more information). Also, Evert^8 was spelled "Evert" in
all census records except 1850 (when he was 2) where it was spelled Everet. (As a result of this last statement I have changed the name from
Everett/Enoch to Evert^8. -jvw Information on birth dates for Charles and Fianna, and Fianna's parents and siblings are courtesy of Don Claypool via 24 August 07 email. [I have additional information, supplied by Don Claypool, on the siblings of Fianna [Claypool] Van Vickle. 22 Nov 2010 email from Caroline Lassen provided information on Margaret Isabel Leighton, wife of Claude Van Vickle. |
